Ensuring the health and safety of our employees and our customers is a core value of ProTech. We uphold this value in the same way that we ensure the quality of our work, by implementing rigorous controls through every phase of our projects. Our safety culture and philosophy are based on our total commitment to employees, policies and procedures, training, equipment and continuous evaluation of our job safety and quality performance. We believe that all accidents can be prevented through an aggressive and comprehensive program of pre-job planning; orientation and continuous training of employees; near-miss, hazard recognition and accident investigation; alcohol and substance abuse prevention; and recognition of employee contributions to zero accidents.
Training and focus on leading indicators are keys to preventing accidents and incidents. Our employees have received extensive training on how to perform their jobs safely properly and in compliance with procedures. We work to create an atmosphere that nurtures proactive awareness. All employees are responsible for implementing ProTech’s safety procedures, have the authority and responsibility to stop any work that is unsafe and to take corrective measures to ensure safety before resuming work.
