Major North American refinery client contracted ProTech-Solutions for a critical project consisting of severing four (4) 60” diameter 1 7/8” wall thickness, 1 ¼ Crrome-1/2 Molly Coker Nozzles, skim cutting interior cladding and beveling Coker section for replacement nozzles. In addition to machining services for cutting and beveling ProTech-Solutions provided dehydrogenation before welding commenced, preheat during welding operations, post weld heat treatment following welding completion and tensioning and torqueing services.
HOUSTON, TEXAS, October 3, 2017 — ProTech-Solutions announced today that they have reached agreement to acquire Pegasus Testing and Inspection Services. With locations in Corpus Christi and Houston Texas, Pegasus Testing and Inspection services provides radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and phased array testing to the midstream and downstream petrochemical markets. The acquisition of Pegasus testing and Inspection further strengthens ProTech-Solutions non-destructive examination capabilities in the Gulf coast market with improved advanced NDE and radiography services.
